The purpose of Batavia’s List is to provide Genesee County with a marketplace hub for all kinds of transactions. Rather than segregate housing from cars or jobs from garage sales, we thought it would be far more useful in a small community like ours to just mash it all together.  It makes things simpler. The whole kit and caboodle in one place, which also increases the chances of discovery and serendipity.  You might be shopping for a motorcycle, but find a really cool dining set that would be perfect for your breakfast nook. Or maybe you’re curious about open houses this weekend and wind up spotting a valuable coupon for a local restaurant.  Looking for a job? Maybe you’ll find a sweet deal on a guitar (you’re second career awaits — busker!)
